Mozilla working on Tab Replacement

Mozilla Labs has started a design challenge with the goal of finding a replacement for tabs. They write:

If you have more than seven or eight tabs open they become pretty much useless.

It's a worthy cause. To participate, you have to create a mockup of your solution (and if you're thinking "Exposé for tabs", I'm afraid that already exists). Let's hope something useful comes out of this.
